  4.    ∙ From now on three archives will be released:

  8.    ∙ The file matching patterns for local parameters will now be treated 
  9.      indepedent of the type of spelling.  The relationships should now be 
  10.      alright on VFAT and MacFS.
  11.    ∙ AV-Protokoll:
  12.         - AV_SENDKEY: ^W for `global window cycling' and all function keys 
  13.             not assigned.
  14.         - AV_PATH_UPDATE for the clipboard file.
  15.         - AV_DRAG_TO_WINDOW for files from projects on the system 
  16.             desktop.
  17.    ∙ Hypertext extended, documentation in TeX format abandonned.
  18.    ∙ Drag&Drop slightly modified:
  19.        - when a filename is dragged onto a text window, a new window will 
  20.          be opened,
  21.        - with the ALT-key pressed the file contents will be inserted into 
  22.          the text buffer,
  23.        - for each filename dragged with the Shift-key pressed a new line 
  24.          will be inserted.
  25.    ∙ When "printing" into a file via GDOS the output path can be freely 
  26.      defined.
  27.    ∙ New switch to change to MS-Dog-like block functions:
  28.       - mark a block with CTRL-Up/Down/Left/Right,
  29.       - copy a block with CTRL-Home,
  30.       - delete a block with CTRL-Delete,
  31.       - insert a block with CTRL-Insert.
  32.      This new feature required some modifications:
  33.       - wordwise backspace now on Shift-BS (formerly CTRL-BS),
  34.       - wordwise delete now on Shift-Delete (formerly CTRL-Delete),
  35.       - function 'Erase to end of buffer' (formerly Shift-Delete) no 
  36.         longer available.
  37.    ∙ When selecting `optional' in the Search & Replace dialog the alert 
  38.      box that prompts you for a decision remembers its position.
  39.    ∙ Searching in text buffers and projects no longer uses distinct dialog 
  40.      boxes.
  41.    ∙ qed now runs correctly from a command line shell and now understands 
  42.      Unix paths (e. g. /etc/profile) as arguments.
  43.    ∙ SE protocol 1.03
  44.    ∙ qed no longer checks for enough disk space on the device while 
  45.      writing a file.  When running out of space, qed will inform you and 
  46.      delete the incompletely saved file.
  47.    ∙ When saving with backup qed will now try first to append the selected 
  48.      backup extension entirely at the old name (test.c -> test.c.bak).  
  49.      In case the file system isn't capable to handle the new name the old 
  50.      extension will be replaced by the new one instead (test.c -> 
  51.      test.bak).
  52.    ∙ Bug with font change:  Now iconified windows will be notified and 
  53.      when using proportional fonts the window size will not change but 
  54.      slightly.
  55.    ∙ qed no longer sends an OLGA_BREAKLINK.
  56.    ∙ Project entries can now be comfortably selected/deselected.
  57.    ∙ D&D: qed supports only ARGS and .TXT because CAT3 doesn't provide a

  116.       - Search and replace string are checked for being identical.

  119.    ∙ Character background in special character selection box is now the
  120.      the same as the background of the box itself.
